Does Bloodhunt Support Crossplay?

By default, all editions of Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodhunt support Crossplay, allowing players to join matches with others across different platforms. 

However, on the PS5 version, players can disable Crossplay in the settings, which may result in longer wait times for matches and is therefore not recommended.

Unlike the PC, the PS5 version offers this option to comply with technical regulations and requirements, as the official website states.

Crossplay functionality initiates upon entering a Bloodhunt match, where the Elysium hub area exclusively includes players from the same platform as the user. 

Consequently, matches can consist of participants from both PC and PS5, but interactions within Elysium are limited to players on the same platform.

Is Cross-Progression Supported in Bloodhunt?

“Cross-progression” isn’t supported in the game. Even though players can use the same account across different platforms, progress, unlocks, and gameplay statistics remain tied to each platform. 

This means players must level up and unlock cosmetics separately on both PC and PS5 if they play on both platforms. Additionally, Trophy/Achievement unlocks are specific to each platform.

What can you expect for the Future of Bloodhunt Crossplay? 

Regarding balancing the game for crossplay, the developer believes that enhancements to gamepad support should contribute to a more balanced experience across different control methods. 

However, they remain committed to further improvements and adjustments based on feedback and testing.
