Is Batman Knights Crossplay In 2024?

Wondering if Gotham Knights has crossplay? If you’re on different platforms, you probably want to know if multiplayer is possible.

Many recent games have enabled cross-platform play. However, just because a game has multiplayer doesn’t guarantee crossplay. There can be technical challenges that make cross-platform play difficult to implement.

Is Batman Knights Cross-Platform?

Unfortunately, Batman Knights does not support crossplay between consoles and PC. The official FAQ states that “crossplay support is not planned at this time,” but does not provide further details.

However, the game does offer connectivity between the PC versions on Steam and the Epic Games Store. To enable this:

1. Open the game and choose the “Link Epic Games Account” option. If not already linked, this will open the Epic Games Store.

2. Log into your Epic Games account.

3. Click your profile icon in the top right of the launcher and select Account.

4. A browser will open. Go to the ‘connections’ tab.

5. Select the ‘accounts’ tab.

6. Click Steam.

7. Sign in to your Steam account and grant access to your Epic Games Store account. 

8. Close the Epic Games Store and reopen Gotham Knights to verify the connection. Remember your unique username; you will need it to connect with friends.

Those seeking cross-platform support for Xbox and PlayStation will be disappointed. The Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions were cancelled, so you can only play on Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 consoles.

Can I Use Third-Party Software To Force Local Co-op In Gotham Knights?

If you were hoping to use Parsec or Steam Remote Play for Gotham Knights multiplayer, you’re out of luck.

WB Games confirmed in a blog post that “Co-op mode can only be played online with an internet connection,” so split-screen mode is not available. 

Fortunately, you don’t need an internet connection to play Gotham Knights solo.
